Lamborghini sent a document to the U.S. regulatory authority, which realizes that the pipes can corrode from the steering pump. In some cases, the liquid may leak into the gear, and if it is hot, causing a fire.
The company says it discovered the problem on product control and so far have not been verified any fires or injuries in drivers.
The owners will begin to be notified this month, and dealers will update the steering system for free.
