Audi presents its new RS 5 Cabriolet

A year after the evolution of the Audi RS 5 Coupé, the brand with the four rings presents the convertible version. The new Audi RS 5 Cabriolet will arrive in dealerships in spring and who are already positioned as a rival of the BMW M3 Convertible.


Regarding engine, the four-seater features a 4.2-liter V8 capable of developing an output of 450 hp managed by an S tronic seven-speed 'launch control'.
  It accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 4.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km / h - this is limited but we have the option to increase it to 280 km/h-. Average consumption figures are high, reaching 10.9 l/100 km.

The dimensions are almost the same as those of the older version: 4.64 meters long, 1.86 meters wide, 1.38 meters high and 2.75 meters wheelbase. The clearance to the ground is reduced by 20 mm, along the bumpers and flippers redesign increases the drag coefficient to 0.34 in the convertible.
